BarkHappy is a location-based app to help you discover the dog-friendly world around you. Find thousands of dog-friendly restaurants, bars, hotels, parks, and more. Even see their pet policies and amenities like whether they have dog treats, water bowls, or allow dogs indoors. Add more places yourself.
Create a profile for your dog and see others near you! Send wags, messages, or invite others for a play date. Schedule your own private group play dates and invite your pack friends, plus see fun dog-friendly events from BarkHappy or its partners.
Report lost or found dogs and alert other users with the dog’s photo, details, and contact information- all based on where your dog was last seen.
When we joined the team the MVP was already live on the play store, so first, we review, refactor the complete source codebase, and make proper MVC architecture before adding new functionality. Developed architecture for making Parse/REST API calls. Added functionality to add points of interest in google map and display the same. Loaded points of interest in clusters to avoid packed looks. Moving backend structure from parse server to AWS and connecting with the app and making sure the current users should not get affected due to this transition.
